Domaine les Grands Bois was recommended to us as the best local grower by the owner of the best bistro in Cairanne, itself the best of the 21 Cotes-du-Rhone villages.

From this up-and-coming producer a sensational Côtes du Rhône village and for us, one of the best value wines to be found in all the Rhône valley. Very Châteauneuf.

Deeply coloured with profound black berry aromas, enhanced with a touch of spice and notes of garrigue and liquorice. A sumptuous wine from the excellent 2020 vintage.

Here's an outstanding Vacqueyras with complex flavours of ripe, blackcurrant fruit, strawberry jam and hints of spice. Smooth and rich on the palate, with soft tannins.
