Chablis 1er Cru Montmains, Brocard 2022
A small parcel of our new Chablis 1er Cru Montmains 2022 from Jean-Marc Brocard is now in stock. In our tasting of 1er Cru Chablis last month it stood out by some way in terms of both quality and value for money. It was delicious and drinking really well already.
Winemaker Jean-Marc is a top Chablis grower famous for his classically styled wines, and his Montmains is one of the better 1er Crus there is, known for its elegance and minerality.
His organic 2022 vintage is complex, crisp and racy, with a lovely mineral underbelly and lingering finish, and will continue to develop over next three to four years. A fine 1er cru Chablis which at anything like this price is extremely hard to find – and definitely one for me!
