It’s hard to see how a Burgundy lover would resist. Because pound for pound, we’ve never come across a better-value white. One which offers such expressiveness, such a degree of delicacy, purity and an intensity of unoaked chardonnay aromatics and flavours. Our customers certainly agree.
A price point that won’t get you nearly so far in Puligny-Montrachet (where you can easily double that figure). Instead, you get pure expression of some of the finest terroir in this lesser-known Mâcon region. So fine, in fact, that the Uchizy village and environs were granted their own village-specific appellation. And when this terroir is harnessed by Benjamin and Mallory Talmard’s expertise, the results - especially at well under £20 a bottle - are irresistible.
