Mâcon-Bussières, Domaine Gonon 2022
Good white burgundy is a necessary treat all year round, and indeed never a greater pleasure than in hot summer weather. Domaine Gonon has released the new 2022 vintage of Mâcon-Bussières, a fine white burgundy from a fifth-generation family vineyard situated at the foot of the celebrated Solutré limestone escarpment that dominates the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.
Vines have been grown here since Roman times and in the Middle Ages, by the monks of Cluny. But whatever the era, wines made here have always been highly prized. All in all, a lovely white burgundy from a great vintage at a very good price.
