Blending the majesty of the Bordeaux variety cabernet sauvignon with the warmth and spice of the top varieties of the Rhône - syrah, cinsault and grenache - would surely be considered almost heresy in France, however, you dont have to look too further afield to find this combination is already producing some incredibly popular and successful wines. Add in all the essence, character, and heritage of one of the oldest wine making regions in the world and you surely have the ingredients to stride confidently into the unknown with both anticipation and confidence that youre heading out on the right path.
