Cave de Lugny make their crémant in the same way and from the same grape varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) as in Champagne, but in neighbouring Burgundy where the ‘Champagne’ name cannot be used and therefore not command the price premium it does.
The Cave de Lugny are widely regarded as one of the best winemaking cooperatives in France and why we believe that this crémant is better than so many supermarket champagnes.

Fantastic bubbly. Better than many champagnes. We've drunk the 2 slightly cheaper versions of cave de lugny for many years but this is a further step up. I'm not surprised it's sold out quickly. Please get hold of more we will be buying it!
